The Mexican Society of Nutrition and Endocrinology is a non-governmental organization that brings together health personnel interested in the fields of Nutrition and Endocrinology. Its mission is to increase awareness of the society regarding nutrition and endocrine diseases and to contribute for achieving a high quality care of these disorders in Mexico. It was founded 49 years ago. Its actions include medical education, support for training specialists in Endocrinology, to stimulate research and to provide information on endocrinology diseases to the people in general.

Our specialty includes some of the major health problems in Mexico. The endocrinologist is the specialist trained in the management of diabetes, obesity and alterations in the concentrations of blood lipids. Our partners are indicated for the management of common problems such as hypothyroidism, the stunting and osteoporosis. Therefore, members of the Mexican Society of Nutrition and Endocrinology play a central role in the treatment of diseases more common in Mexico.

The website of the Society is our gateway. The public can get information on endocrine diseases and knowledge required for treatment. Special emphasis has been set on diabetes, nutrition, obesity and thyroid ailments. You can also find the endocrinologists who exercise their practice in Mexico.
